While there is a lot of focus on publishing library data as Linked Open Data (LOD), there are fewer examples of libraries consuming LOD to demonstrate the added value in a real world application. The three libraries of the New York Art Resources Consortium (NYARC): Brooklyn Museum, The Frick Collection, and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) would like to participate in a case study to demonstrate the benefits and challenges of using linked data sources to enrich our bibliographic metadata and enhance resource discovery. This case study could serve to educate the METRO community about LOD; uncover areas where future research and tool development is required to mainstream use of LOD by the library, archive and museum community; and inform LOD producers of pitfalls in their publishing approach.
