In New York State alone, 242 organizations use Past Perfect Museum Software to describe their collections. This software is inexpensive, has amazing support, and is often the best fit for smallish organizations who have ambitious goals for making collections accessible. The Past Perfect Online module offers a limited template and lacks the ability to dynamically integrate with other websites and their functionalities. Although a proprietary software, there must be some way to develop an API in conjunction with the Past Perfect team to create a widely marketable API for its subscribers.
