NYU Health Sciences Library

At our library, we need to analyze data of many kinds from many sources ā inputs, outputs, logs, e-resource usage data, etc. How can we make the best use of these data? What questions would it help us answer? What data might fulfill a one time need, an occasional need, or bear regular analysis and reporting?
We are pondering hiring a data analyst but not sure if we have a real, ongoing job or a shorter term project. Could a METRO Fellow help us answer these questions, and in doing so, learn about data sources and applications that would be generalizable to other types of libraries?
